OK. so up until oh...lets go with TODAY our perfect (to us) 17 month old has been a loving, fun going into toddler stage "baby". And then at about 3pm today our sweet fun boy turned into cry every five minute demon child. And for all you moms out there ready to say...amanda, was he hungry? does he have diaper rash? or...ear ache? NO! We know our boy and this was...im going to wake up from my nap today and see if my rents can handle me screaming, tossing my body on the floor like a well developed break dancer and see if they follow suit and freak out!!!! Well low and behold mom and dad did not freak out! We took away night nihgt bear when he threw-no chucked it at mommy. And we even did not break a smile when he did his break dancing routine. SCORE one for the new parents!!! I know very very well there is a loooonnngg road ahead of us especially as the new one comes closer and closer to arriving. But if we can keep our cool and stick together WE GOT THIS!!!
On a side note...im thinking about going into the thirty one business. Mama could use some extra cash ie more salon visits he he. I will be attending an open house (hopefully) to see if this is something I can do on the side! here we go!!
Hey everyone! welcome to my new blog! I have been wanting to do this for a long time. I am always reading everyone elses and feel like my life is probably more complicated, interesting and funny than most. ;) So, why not start my own?
I figure today was a great day start. As a mom, one can only pray for a day with no kids, no husband and nothing on the to-do list. Well, this weekend my dream came true. Seeing how I have to work Sat & Sun @ the hospital and couldnt get off, and the husband was doing his thing at another firefighter combat challenge (well talk about that later) Cayden went to grandma and grandpas. Ummmm honestly my original level of excitement was ZILCH. But with a little convincing from the girls at work, I decided to take advantage of the quiet time. I mean a whole 24+ hours of luxurious alone time. So for starters...this super awesome fun mom slept in teill almost ten! woo! And progressed to the couch for another 3-4 hours. Talk about loads of fun. And then finally made it to Target (told you i was fun) to parooze the sale, which i never get to do...with my cherry icee. Who can go to Target with out buying something at the cafe. really. eventually, after only stopping once to pukie I was able to take two items to the fitting room, and buy them both. pure joy.
Finally i made my way to a (new to me) chinese joint and home i went to sit on the couch a little longer.
All in all, today was a good day! but secertly hoping the next two days of work will go quickly so i can see my men!
